Gareth wants to thank everyone who has supported us in getting to the final round of the Countryside Alliance Awards.
Gareth Williams, who owns the park said “ I’m absolutely delighted that people have voted for us and given everyone who works here such a big boost. We’ve been open just 2 and a half years, and in that time have seen, both an expansion to attractions at the park, and also a big growth in visitor numbers too”.
Raglan Farm Park is a family run business that now employs 8 full and part time workers. It was awarded the ‘Visit Wales’ quality assurance standard last July and has, since then, become a ‘popular day out’ for families.
The next stage will be a visit to Raglan Farm Park from all the judges. Gareth says, “ The awards are known as the ‘Rural Oscars’ but I’m not sure about the ‘red carpet bit’ …we have loads of green astroturf walkways throughout the park, so I’ll have to practice walking them first!”
